Accepted Payment Methods
Hawes & Curtis accepts payment using American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, Switch and Solo cards, as well as through Google Checkout.
Hawes & Curtis does not store credit or debit card numbers in our database. To ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Hawes & Curtis uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled you will see a padlock on your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.
Pages requiring you to enter private information are secure. This means that all information entered on our secure pages is encrypted prior to being sent to us. You will know that you are on a secure page when you see a closed padlock icon in the URL address bar.
Hawes & Curtis participates in the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode schemes operated by the UK banking industry. If applicable, you will be directed to a new page which loads directly from your bank before payment is processed.
To ensure a secure shopping experience and to protect our customers, our accounts team initiates random security checks to verify cardholder details in order to prevent online fraud.
Should this check be carried out on your payment card, a random amount between 1p – 99p will be credited to your account. You will be asked to confirm this amount via email before we proceed with the order.
Multiple Debit & Credit Card Use
You are welcome to use different debit or credit cards on every new order; however this could cause a delay as the security check may need to be carried out again.
Once a card has passed our security check, no further checks will be made on any subsequent orders.
All product prices on the Hawes & Curtis website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). We also have a German language page where payment is made in € (EUR), but this is only available to customers based in Germany and Austria, and a website available to our Australia based customers in Australian dollars(AUD).
At this time we do not accept other currencies, although we will be launching local market versions of our site for the US in the near future. If you wish to purchase from us internationally, your bank will charge you their current conversion rate at the time of your transaction.
Order Amendments and Cancellations
Unfortunately, once payment has been taken we cannot add any extra items to an order. However, if you contact our customer service team and arrange to place a new order, we can combine the two and refund one of the shipping costs provided that neither have already been shipped.
Should you wish to make any changes to your order (such as size or design) please contact our customer services team on 01702 447100 (or 0044 1702 447100 internationally) or firstname.lastname@example.org. Items can only be exchanged for others in the same range. Please inform us of any amendments as quickly as possible, as the majority of orders are processed within a few hours of being placed.
For order cancellations, please contact our customer services team as quickly as possible. Should your order be despatched before it can be cancelled, please see our returns section for details on how to return the products for a refund.
Please note that if, by mistake, we have incorrectly priced an item we will not be liable to ship it to you, provided you are notified before despatch.
Google checkout customers - Please be advised that we cannot amend the delivery address of any Google checkout order. Should you wish for your order to be despatched to an alternative address, a new order will need to be placed, and the original will be refunded by our customer service team.

Click & Collect
How Click & Collect Works
Click & Collect allows you to have your order delivered free of charge to any participating Hawes & Curtis stores.
By selecting the ‘Store Collection’ option at the checkout, a list of all available stores and their delivery dates will be displayed. Each participating store takes Click & Collect deliveries once a week.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email informing you of the date and time that your collection can be made. You will not have to wait more than 7 days for your order to be delivered.
Opening and closing times may differ between stores. Please check the store times before collecting your order.
Collecting Your Order
When collecting your order, please bring the following items:
- The payment card used for the purchase
- Photographic ID (a passport or a driving licence).
If your order is over £250, please also bring a utility bill or a bank statement with your billing address on it.
Please note that only the customer who purchased the order will be able to collect the order.
Click & Collect Returns
Click & Collect orders are subject to the same terms and conditions as all orders made online.
Changing Delivery Details
If you would like to choose a different store from which to collect your order, please contact our customer services team on 0170 244 7100 or via email@example.com.
Please note that changing your store delivery options may cause a delay to the collection date of your order.
All Click & Collect orders will be held in stores for 14 days after arrival. Once 14 days have passed we will attempt to contact you by telephone and email. If no contact can be made, your order will be returned to our warehouse and your order refunded.
If you are unable to collect your order within 14 days, please contact customer services or the store directly, and they will extend the waiting period as necessary.
Hawes & Curtis reserves the right to postpone Click & Collect without notice.
This can occur during exceptionally busy periods or external factors such as hazardous weather. During this time, online orders will need to be shipped using our standard delivery option.

Product & Company Information
Shirts - All Hawes & Curtis shirts should be machine washed at 30°c with like colours, and ironed under a medium heat while damp. They should not be bleached or tumbled dried, as this will damage the integrity of the material.
Non-Iron Shirts – Hawes & Curtis Non-Iron shirts should be washed at 30°c and tumble dried at a low heat. The non-iron formula should remove the need for ironing, but this can be done at your own discretion.
Ties - All Hawes & Curtis ties are made from 100% silk and should be dry cleaned only.
Boxer Shorts - All Hawes & Curtis boxer shorts should be machine washed at 40°c with like colours and ironed under a medium heat while damp. They should not be bleached or tumbled dried, as this will damage the integrity of the material. Please note that for hygiene reasons our boxer shirts are non-returnable.
Cufflinks - Hawes & Curtis cufflinks are made from rhodium or Stirling silver (as stated). To clean use a soft cloth to wipe the surface of cufflinks, removing any smudges or grease marks. They should not be washed or cleaned with any chemicals as this will damage the material.
Socks – Hawes & Curtis socks are cotton rich and should be washed at 40°C. They should not be bleached or tumble dried, as this will damage the integrity of the material. Please note that for hygiene reasons our socks are non-returnable.

Unfortunately Hawes & Curtis do not currently sell gift vouchers.
Hawes & Curtis Catalogue
Due to the large number of styles we produce and frequent stock changes, we do not produce a seasonal catalogue. For the most up to date ranges and styles please check our website regularly.
For all the latest product additions and special offers, we encourage you to sign up to our newsletter from our homepage.
Unfortunately we do not currently offer any monogramming or alteration services.

During the sales period we operate a one month returns policy for all online sales purchases.
To ensure that all orders are processed quickly and efficiently during the extremely busy sales period, we will not accept exchanges from mid-June to mid-July however we will still process refunds. We strongly recommend that you return your unwanted item and immediately re-purchase the desired item so you do not miss out on the sale offer.
