Top Looks From London Collections Men SS18Friday June 23, 2017
From the 9th to the 12th June, London Collections Men took place in the British capital. London Collections Men is one of the most important fashion events in the world, showcasing the best of British menswear from the country’s most illustrious designers. During the four day event, ready-to-wear brands including Barbour International, Vivienne Westwood and Belstaff presented their Spring/Summer 2018 collections.
Hawes & Curtis featured in the St James’s Show at the Jermyn Street catwalk where 30 resident brands strutted down the catwalk in contemporary looks, all of which are available in the shops this summer. We sorted through them to bring you the ensembles that stood out most for Spring/Summer 2018. From Sharp Summer Style to Sports Luxe, here are our top four looks from the St James’s Show.
Sharp Summer Tailoring
Hawes & Curtis hit the runway in smart white chinos, a wool blazer, a sharp blue and white striped formal shirt and brown leather brogues. A white panama hat completed this chic seasonal outfit. From garden parties to al fresco dining, this look is perfect for all summer events.
Traditional tailoring was reinvented with a contemporary twist at London Collections Men. Suits in a distinctly British Prince of Wales check were updated with a modern silhouette. Team with earth toned accessories, a light blue formal shirt and a smart leather briefcase for an office-ready look.
British summer sports season is in full swing so it’s time to invest in some seriously smart casual wear. From coloured chinos and polo shirts to luxurious merino knit jumpers and leather boat shoes, these pieces will ensure you spectate in style.
Get set to escape in style with ready-to-wear pieces for the holiday season. A cotton T shirt, pastel coloured chinos, leather boat shoes and, of course, a panama hat, are the summer essentials you’ll need for your vacation.
